They have an impressive solid wood look and the finish is first rate.<\/p>\n<p>I thought that the smaller speaker sounded better in my short listening session. Very expensive, but the price includes both the speakers, sub-woofers, pre-amp and dual amplifiers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_15.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5026 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_15.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"298\" height=\"448\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_15.jpg 298w, https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_15-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 298px) 100vw, 298px\" \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_17.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5027 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_17.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"298\" height=\"448\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_17.jpg 298w, https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_17-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 298px) 100vw, 298px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The massive M1 loudspeaker from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.danielhertz.com\/index.php\/products-2\/m1\">Daniel Hertz<\/a>. These loudspeakers are huge. A compression horn paired with a 12\u201d mi-range and an 18\u201d woofer. If you have the money, a large room and no neighbors this is the speaker for you. It uses a large 34mm tweeter dome and a 7\u201d mid-woofer crossed over at 1100Hz and paired with an optional super tweeter. It sounded ok as Genelec usually do.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_24.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5036\" src=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_24.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"298\" height=\"448\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_24.jpg 298w, https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_24-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 298px) 100vw, 298px\" \/><\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_25.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5037\" src=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_25.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"298\" height=\"448\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_25.jpg 298w, https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_25-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 298px) 100vw, 298px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The P-38F and the RP-280 from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.klipsch.com\/\">Klipsch<\/a>. I\u2019m not a huge fan of the Klipsch speakers. I think the tweeter is exaggerated and sound harsh and unnatural. Of the two I thought the RP-280 sounded better even though it had party bass.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_26.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5038 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_26.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"298\" height=\"448\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_26.jpg 298w, https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_26-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 298px) 100vw, 298px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Pharoah from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.trenner-friedl.com\/\">Trenner &amp; Friedl<\/a>. They sounded nice using an 8\u201d SEAS mid-woofer paired with a 1\u201d horn tweeter.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_27.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5039 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_27.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"298\" height=\"448\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_27.jpg 298w, https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_27-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 298px) 100vw, 298px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Radialstrahler 101 E MK II from <a href=\" http:\/\/www.mbl.de\/?lang=en\/\">MBL<\/a>. If you like classical music, there is nothing better than the MBL Radialstrahler loudspeakers. The futuristic looking Devialet Phantom speaker have some astonishing claims like 16Hz (-2dB) bass for such a small loudspeaker. The Mist using an Audio Technology 5\u201d mid-range and dual 8\u201d SEAS woofers, sounded more detailed compared to the Liszt which was perhaps a bit more musical and had stronger bass of the two.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_43.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5066 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_43.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"448\" height=\"298\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_43.jpg 448w, https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/HES2015_43-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 448px) 100vw, 448px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>One of the super expensive audio rigs using the <a href=\" http:\/\/www.thelars.se\/\">The Lars<\/a> tube amp and the Canterbury GR loudspeaker from <a href=\"http:\/\/tannoy.com\/residential\/#!products_1519\">Tannoy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It beats me how anybody for a small fortune could buy this setup.
