{"id":4515,"date":"2014-06-08T09:46:20","date_gmt":"2014-06-08T09:46:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/?p=4515"},"modified":"2014-06-08T09:47:45","modified_gmt":"2014-06-08T09:47:45","slug":"wharfedale-diamond-10-2-review-part-2-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/?p=4515","title":{"rendered":"Wharfedale Diamond 10.2 review part 2 Update!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/WD10.2_11.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4409\" src=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/WD10.2_11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"266\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/WD10.2_11.jpg 298w, https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/WD10.2_11-199x300.jpg 199w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 266px) 100vw, 266px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I described in <a href=\" https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/?page_id=4465\">part 2<\/a> of my Wharfedale 10.2 review that my right loudspeaker didn\u2019t sound and measure the same as the left loudspeaker.<\/p>\n<p>The reason for this is:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The mid-woofer had a mechanical creaky sound from the surround\/suspension and even though it measured almost identical as the mid-woofer in the left loudspeaker the creaky sound could be heard in bass heavy recordings.<\/li>\n<li>The tweeter in the right loudspeaker had significant lower sensitivity which gave about 1.5-2dB lower output in the tweeter\u2019s frequency response.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I contacted my local HiFi shop and supplier which immediately supplied me a new tweeter and mid-woofer.<\/p>\n<p>I have now updated the <a href=\" https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/?page_id=4465\">part 2<\/a> review with some new measurements for the replacement drivers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\" https:\/\/www.audioexcite.com\/?page_id=4465\">Wharfedale Diamond 10.2 review part 2<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Regards<\/p>\n<p>\/G\u00f6ran<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; I described in part 2 of my Wharfedale 10.2 review that my right loudspeaker didn\u2019t sound and measure the same as the left loudspeaker.
